1/2 pound ground pork
1/4 pound shrimp, peeled and chopped
6 waterchestnuts, finely chopped
2 scallions, sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound wonton wrappers
oil for deep-frying
1. Heat oil in wok. Add pork and cook until browned. Remove pork and all
but 1 Tbs. of oil.
2. Stir fry veggies and shrimp. In small bowl, mix cornstarch and soy
sauce. Add pork, cornstarch mixture to shrimp mixture.
3. Put spoonful of filling in center of wonton skin. Seal edges with
water and fold. Deep fry in oil until golden. Serve with Sweet & Sour
Sauce.
