1 pie crust -- (9 inch)
6 bacon slices -- crisply cooked
6 ounces Swiss cheese -- shredded
1 1/2 cups half and half
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup ham cubes
4 egg
1/8 onion -- slice
1 freezer bag -- jumbo
Prepare pie crust. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and cheese on the bottom of pie crus
t. Put remaining ingredients in blender container. Blend on high for 10 seconds
; blend until onion is mixed but do not overblend. Pour into pie crust over bac
on and cheese. To freeze: flash freeze pie and container. When frozen, cover wi
th aluminum foil and seal in jumbo freezer bag. To prepare: thaw quiche complet
ely before baking. Bake in preheated oven at 350-degrees for 30 minutes, until
top is golden brown and mixture is se
t. Serve warm. Serving Ideas : Green or Caesar Salad, Fresh French Bread
