2 pounds ground beef
1 cup onion -- chopped
1 tablespoon garlic -- chopped
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes with -- added puree
1 1/2 cups beef broth
2 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
1 15 1/4 ounce c kidney beans -- drained
1/4 cup fresh cilantro -- chopped

Cook beef in heavy large pot over med. heat until brown, crumbling with fork, a
bout 10 mins. Add onion, garlic, chili powder, and cumin and cook 5 mins., sti
rring frequently. Mix in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, corn, and kidney beans a
nd bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 30 mins. Mix in
cilantro.
