Mixed Fruit Bread
1-1/3 cups water
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
3-1/2 cups bread flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons dry milk
2 teaspoons salt
2 packages active dry yeast or 2-1/2 tsp bread machine yeast
1-1/4 cups mixed dried fruit
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Do not use timer with this recipe.
Add the fruit and nuts 15 minutes after you press the START button.
Moisture in dried fruit varies, so 10 to 15 minutes after adding the
fruit, check mixture. If too dry, add 1 or 2 tablespoons water. If
too wet, add additional flour.
