1 7/8 cups flour -- 2 cups - 2 T.
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter -- cold,cut in 8 pieces
7/8 cup milk -- 2/3 c. + 1 1/2 T.
Preheat oven to 400.
Stir together dry ingredients. Cut in butter until the size of large
peas. Add milk and stir just until dough holds together.
Divide dough in half. Shape each half into a flat round 1" thick. Cut
each circle lightly into fourths.
Bake for 15 minutes until partially golden, but not browned.
