1 pound thin asparagus -- cut into 2-inch

1 pound bowties or wagon wheels -- (cooked weight)
1 cup sliced radishes
1 cup frozen baby peas -- thawed
1 green onion -- sliced thin
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
***LEMONY DRESSING***
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1. Bring a medium saucepan of water to boil over high heat. Add the asparagus
and cook until tender, about 2 to 3 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water
.
2. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse und
er cold water.
3. Make Lemony Dressing: Whisk together all ingredients in a large bowl.
4. Toss Lemony Dressing with pasta, asparagus, radishes, peas, green onion and
parsley. Makes 4 servings.
This pasta salad can be enjoyed all year long with your favorite seasonal veget
