1 cn (8 oz) sliced water chetnuts
drained
1 cn (8 oz) mushrooms, liquid
reserved
enough water to equal 1 1/3
c with mushroom liquid
2 T margarine
1 cn (10 3/4 oz) French onion
soup, defated
1 c rice
Combine all ingredients in a 2 quart casserole and mix well. Cook, covered,
in a 350 degree oven for one hour. remove from oven and let rest for 10
minutes.
