Mama's Red Rice

3 tbsps Vegetable Oil
1 Onion -- chopped
1 Green Pepper -- chopped
1 can Tomatoes
1 can Tomato paste
dash Tabasco sauce
dash Black Pepper
3 tbsps Ketchup
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 c Rice
Bring salted water to a boil and add the rice. Turn down heat and boil slowly
for 15-20 minutes. In a skillet, saute onions and peppers in the vegetable o
il. Add the 1 (1-pound) can of tomatoes, 1 can tomato paste, hot sauce, black
pepper, and ketchup. Add to rice and stir.
