3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1/4 cup vegetable broth
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
4 ounces Gorgonzola cheese -- crumbled
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour. Cook an
d stir 2-3 minutes or until bubbly. Gradually stir in milk, broth, and pepper.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low and stir in cheese until melted.
