3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 cup canned mushrooms -- sliced
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
Melt butter. Brown mushrooms lightly in melted butter. Stir in flour and
salt. Add milk slowly. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

Serving Ideas : Serve over Ham Turnovers (separate recipe)
NOTES : This recipe is for 6 servings (about 1/4 cup each) to accompany Ham
Turnovers, a freeze ahead meal. The sauce is made at the time of serving.
You will want to have the ingredients on hand when you are ready to use the
frozen food.
