Sorrel-Tarragon Sauce for Pasta
3/4 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup finely chopped fresh sorrel or arugula
2 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon or 1 teaspoon dried, crumbled
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives or green onion tops
1 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 garlic clove, pressed (or use 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)
Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Cover
and chill at least four hours. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Keep
refrigerated).
