1/2 c sugar
pinch salt
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 c water or apple juice
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp vanilla
pinch nutmeg
Mix the sugar, salt and cornstarch. Add the water or apple juice. Stirring
constantly, cook over medium heat, until thick and clear. Add the butter,
vanilla and nutmeg. Serve warm.
