3 c Sugar
1 c Whole milk
1/4 c Butter
1 c Nuts
1 lb Pitted dates

Boil sugar, milk and butter to a soft ball stage. Add nuts and dates.
Bring all ingredients to a boil, remove from the fire and beat until stiff.
Pour this mixture on a wet tea towel and roll into a long roll. Place in
the refrigerator and slice when ready to serve.
