MOCK APPLE PIE

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
2 cups water
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
25 crackers -- ritz preferred

Bring to a boil, drop in crackers. Place in a uncooked pie shell. Sprinkle
with cinnamon. Put dabs of butter on top. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
Tastes like real apple pie.
