1/2 c Butter or margarine
1/2 c Crisco
1 c Granulated sugar
3/4 c Pet or Carnation evaporated
-milk
1 tb Vanilla

(Editor's Note: No specific instructions were given for making either
item. In the demonstration, a store-bought yellow cake mix was used.
The suggested method of making the cake bars is to use the oval
shaped foil containers that baked potatoes come in. Take one bar,
spread filling over the top, and put another one on top. Use at your
