1 Lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 C. finely chopped onion
1 C. finely chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 C. catsup
1/2 Tsp. ground cloves

Brown meat in shortening slowly until crumbly. Combine
remaining ingredients and add to meat. Cover and simmer about
30 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
