1 pound Ground beef -- lean
1 Egg white -- lightly beaten
1/3 cup Onion -- chopped fine
1/4 cup Saltine cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons Milk
1 tablespoon Prepared horseradish
1/4 teaspoon Salt (opt.)
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
12 ounces Beef gravy -- canned OR>>>>
your own.
1 1/2 cups Fresh mushrooms -- sliced
2 tablespoons Water
Hot cooked noodles
In a bowl, combine beef, egg white, onion, crumbs, milk, horseradish, salt if
desired and pepper. Shape into 4 oval patties. Fry in skillet over med. heat
for 10 to 12 min. or until cooked through, turning once. Remove patties and
keep warm. Add gravy, mushrooms and water to skillet; heat for 3 to 5 min.
Serve over patties and noodles if desired.
