Golden Cornbread

1 Cup all-purpose flour
1 Cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/3 Cup sugar
4 Teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
1/3 Cup butter or margarine -- melted
1 Cup milk
1. Heat oven to 425'.
2. Gease and 8x8 inch pan. Combine flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, and baking
powder in mixing bowl.
3. Add eggs and butter to milk. Beat with rotary beater until blended.
4. Pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients. Beat with rotary beater just
till blended(do not over beat). Pour into prepared pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes
or until golden brown.
