1 C. corn meal (self-rising)
1 C. creamed corn
1 egg
1 Tsp. salt
1 Lb. ground beef -- browned
1 Medium green pepper
1 Medium onion
1/2 Lb. grated cheese
hot pepper (optional)

Drain ground beef; pour half of batter into greased iron
skillet. Put ground beef, layer of onion and green pepper and
cheese. Pour rest of batter on top. Cook 45 minutes or until
done.
