1 cup Flour
1 cup HermanStarter
1 teaspoon Baking powder
5 tablespoons Oil or grease; ( lard -- bacon
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda

Heat oven to 450 deg.Mix flour,baking powder,baking soda.Add starter and
oil.Knead 10 times on a floured surface.Pat to 3/4" thickness.Cut in
rounds,place on cookie sheet,and bake at 450 deg.for 10 minutes.Makes 8 to 12
biscuits.
