Dutch Apple Cake

3 cups flour
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. soda
1 t. salt
2 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups oil
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. rum flavooring
1 cup chopped walnuts
3 cups chopped raw apple
Mix dry ingredients . Mix oil, eggs, and flavorings separately. Then add to
dry ingredients. Fold in nuts and apple. Place in greased and floured 9x13
pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour. You may frost with a cream cheese
frosting or powdered sugar glaze---or serve without a frosting.
