Rice Krispie Butterscotch Chips

6 ounces butterscotch chips
4 cups Rice Krispies
6 ounces pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sifted confectionery sugar
2 tablespoons butter or oleo
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon water
Melt butterscotch chips with peanut butter at low heat until blended, cool. A
dd Rice Krispies to mixture. Press 1/2 of mixture in buttered 8x8 pan. Chill
in the refrigerator.
Combine chocolate chips, sugar, butter and water. Stir over hot water until w
ell blended. Spread over chilled cereal mixture. Spread remaining cereal mixt
ure over top. Chill 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
