1/2 c cold butter or margarine
1 18.25 oz pkg yellow cake mix
1 egg -- beaten
Filling:
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese -- softened
2 c confectioner's sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
additional confectioner's sugar

In a bowl, cut butter into cake mix until crumbly. Add egg and mix well. Pres
s into a greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese a
nd sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth. Spread evenly over the cru
st. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 325°; bake 10 minutes
longer.
Dush with confectioner's sugar while warm. Cool to room temperature before cut
ting.
