Sausage & Macaroni Casserole

Title: SAUSAGE & MACARONI CASSEROLE

Yield: 4 servings

1 lb Sausage meat
1 Onion; chopped
1/4 ts Pepper
1 Garlic clove; chopped
3 c Macaroni; cooked
1 c Mushrooms; drained
1 c Cottage cheese
1/4 ts Oregano
1/4 c Spaghetti sauce
1/4 ts Basil
1/4 ts Garlic powder
1/4 ts Dry mustard
Breadcrumbs (opt)
Grated cheese

Preheat oven to 350F. Saute sausage meat till light
brown. Drain fat, separate meat with fork, set
aside. Saute onion, garlic & mushrooms. Add sausage
meat, spices. Stir in sauce. Add macaroni & stir.
Arrange alternate layers of macaroni-meat mixture
and cottage cheese; ending with meat. Top with bread
crumbs & cheese if desired. Bake at 350F for 25-30
min. SERVES:4
