6 medium potatoes -- cooked and cubed
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1/4 cup butter or margarine
4 green onions -- chopped

in large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add cheese and stir until
melted. Add sour cream, onion, and potatoes; mix well. Turn into buttered
2-quart baking dish. Bake at 375F for 30 minutes.
