7 Plums, Each Cut Into 3 Or 4 Pieces
1 Fifth 100-Proof Vodka
1 Cup Sugar Syrup

Steep the plums in the vodka for 1-1/2 weeks. Pour off theliquid through
a wire strainer, mashing the plums and then wring them them in dampened
cheesecloth. Add the sugar syrup and filter through cheesecloth.
