Fish House Punch
Fish House Punch No. 2660 Yields 5 Quarts
3 Quarts Water 1 Quart Jamaica Rum
1 Lb Dark Brown Sugar 1 Quart Brandy
12 Lemons, Juice and Peel - Crushed Ice
Only
Combine the water and sugar in a large heavy saucepan over medium low heat.
Cook until the sugar dissolves, shaking the pan occasionally.
Increase the heat to medium high.
Boil the syrup for 2 minutes.
Combine the lemon juice and the lemon peel in a large bowl.
Pour the hot syrup over.
Let cool.
Stir in the rum and brandy.
Strain before serving.
Serve over crushed ice.
