Traditional Christmas Fudge

Title: TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS FUDGE

2 tb Butter or margarine
2/3 c Undiluted Carnation milk
1 1/2 c Granulated sugar
1/4 ts Salt
2 c (4oz) miniature marshmallows
1 1/2 c (9 oz) Nestle Toll House
- Semi-sweet Chocolate
- Morsels
1/2 c Pecan or walnuts; chopped
1 ts Vanilla extract
Combine butter, evaporate milk, sugar and salt in medium, heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 4 to 5
minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Stir in marshmallows, morsels, nuts and vanilla. Stir vigorously for 1
minute or until marshmallows are melted. Pour into foil-lined 8-inch square
baking pan. Sprinkle with additional pecans if desired. Chill until firm.
Variations: Milk Chocolate Fudge: Substitute 2 cups (11 1/2 oz. pkg.)

Mint-Chocolate Morsels for Semi-Sweet Morsels.
