1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 pounds chicken drumettes
Make marinade by combining all ingredients except chicken; mix well. Rinse
chicken drumettes well and drain on paper towels. Place chicken in a shallow
baking dish; pour marinade over all. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or
overnight, turning occasionally. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Arrange
chicken on a rack in a baking dish lined with aluminum foil. Bake 40 to 45
minutes, basting occasionally with the marinade. Refrigerate leftovers.
Delicious hot or cold.
